Confessions

Forgive me blogville, for I have strayed. It has been over a month since my last post!




Dudes, my life has been turned upside down! My little brother is taking over and there is nothing I can do about it.

My sleep is disrupted on a nightly basis. He cries when I have playtime at the park! And although my number of walks has increased, he seems to set the pace. He cries when I stop to pee! I mean really .... That's pretty rich from someone who pees in his pants.





All in all its not bad, his toes do smell really good! And Mum says he'll be fun to play with once he is a little bigger.

Sheesh! When I was his age I was packing my bags and getting ready to leave my fur family forever. This kid cries when Mum goes to the bathroom. Wuss!

Well that all for now! Gonna try to take a nap while he does!

It's staying!?

Well the biped puppy has arrived! As puppies go, it's kinda ugly! As people go though, he is kind of cute.... I guess!

He makes way more noise than I ever did, and he poops in the house and everyone thinks its fine.

My G-Ma has become his "Nanny" and when he's not stealing her attention he's stealing Mum's. The little prince even has his own carriage which I am expected walk nicely along side of, like some sort of trained animal!

On the upside I am getting way more attention from Papa, and my treat quotient has doubled! I get treats just for smelling the kids feet .... Have my pawrents lost their minds! I'd smell feet for free.

Mum said I could post this picture, even though you can see his face. Apparently, it's ok for my mug to be all over the interweb, but not his.



And people think I'm spoiled?

What a life!

Good news buddies! The stitches are out and I look extra handsome. My eye lift has made me look 6 months younger! You know, in that natural well rested sort of way. Doctor Z is very happy with how it all healed up.




We have also discovered in the last week that I am sensitive to the cleaning fluid in the swiffer wet jet! Will it never end?! Luckily they figured it out quickly, Mum washed me up! And G-Ma cleaned the floor (again, without the swifter) and it has helped a lot with the itching.

My G-Ma is here for a visit. She is staying with us til the new puppy arrives. The kid is already late by two days! And they think I'm slow and stubborn! Phhhhh!




We may be a little busy in the next few weeks! I'll do my best to keep you up to date.... It's not like I could blog less right!?

On the fix

Papa and I went to see Dr. Z today. He was most pleased with my eyes. He showed Papa how to clean the incisions, apparently Mum was being too gentle. I could have lived without that demonstration!




I have to go back again on the 24th to have the stitches removed, assuming Mum isn't having puppies that day. BOL! Papa says that's the day the biped puppy is supposed to arrive. (I don't care what anyone says, I'm not sharing my toys!)

After our little outing Papa went to see a friend near by and had my antler fixed. The ends were getting kind of jagged and there was a good 7 inches of antler just being wasted! Papa's friend cut off the sharp ends with his fancy saw, and now my antler is just like new! I had the best chew this afternoon.



Mum and I went for a short walk tonight, it was very warm. When we got home I got a good drink from the hose. Last night was so warm she hosed me down before our walk. It really makes a big difference. And by the time we got home I was almost dry! That's my stay cool tip ;)

Ok, going to chill on the patio. I wonder who will walk by tonight?
