When One Door Closes

Hello Blogville. It is I, the prodigal bulldog.
I decided today was a good day to officially end my blog. Obviously my posts have been embarrassingly rare over the last couple years (because Mum's "too busy" to help me type, what-evs!) and the open ended-ness was making me uneasy. So, as I begin a new adventure I thought I would give formal end to this register.

First, an update. I now have two bi-ped siblings. The boy, previously referred to as "The Brat" is actually not too bad. I may even like him (Shhhh don't tell him, I will deny everything!) The girl? Well I was none too amused when they brought her home, I didn't even sniff her and I generally pay her little attention, but she feeds me now so maybe we'll play nice. It's just such hard work to train the little rug rats, and I'm not the pup I once was.... I turned 6 a couple weeks ago.

The really big change is that we are moving. I was not consulted about this and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. We are leaving British Columbia and moving to Ontario. This is the only true home I've ever known, and I hear it snows there, ewww. Papa says it's a work thing, whatever that is... sounds boring, lol!

I have already moved. I am writing this post from the comfort of my Nonna's main hall (or maybe her couch, hee hee). Papa and I arrived today, which is why today seemed such a fitting end to my blog. He will be abandoning me here and coming back again with the whole crew in a few weeks. Apparently the airlines have some sort of travel restrictions because of the summer heat, so I had to come early. The airlines obviously don't know that I'm so cool I bring the heat! (To tell you the truth, I don't mind. Nonna and I will be napping the days away in peace on the back deck until they get here.) Mum says our new house will be ready in a few months and that eventually I will have my own fenced back yard. And by "my own" I mean she says I have to share with the brats.

So, without any embarrassing displays of emotion, see ya later paw-pals. When you see an impish adorable misbehaving puppy pee on an old mans shoe, think of me and I'll be there.

Finn Dog out. Peace!
